Fixi Group Limited, registered in England and Wales, of 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA, decides what is collected here and why. In data protection law that makes it the controller, which is the party you hold responsible.
The law that applies is the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and for anything stored on your device, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Our supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

What we collect
Two things, and nothing else. There is no account to open here and nothing to buy.

What you send us
Your name, your email address and whatever you write in the message, when you use the contact form or email the studio. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you asked us a question and we need to answer it. Kept for 24 months from the last message between us, then deleted. If the enquiry becomes a project, it moves to the contract file and is kept for 6 years after the engagement ends, because tax and limitation law requires it.

How the site is used
Which pages are read, roughly where in the world the reader is, what kind of device it is, and which site or search sent them. This is Google Analytics, and it runs only if you allow it. The lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any moment from the button at the foot of this page. Google keeps it for 14 months.

Strictly necessary. Two values in your browser’s local storage, not cookies and never sent to us: odel-theme, which remembers whether you chose the day or the night view, and odel-consent, which remembers your answer to the banner so you are not asked on every page. Without the second one we could not honour a refusal, which is why the law allows it without consent.
Analytics. Google Analytics sets _ga and one _ga_ cookie, both lasting up to 2 years, which tell Google whether two visits came from the same browser. Neither is set unless you accept. If you refuse, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded at all: the refusal is not a flag we pass to Google, it is the script never running.
Advertising. None. There is no advertising on this site, no remarketing, no pixel, and nothing here is shared with an advertising network.

Vercel
Serves these pages. Holds the ordinary request records any web server keeps, including your IP address, for a short period. United States.

HubSpot
Receives the contact form so the message reaches us and does not get lost. Only what you typed. United States.

Google Analytics, and only if you allowed it. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; your address is used to work out the country and then discarded. We have switched off Google Signals and ad personalisation, so this data is not used for Google’s own advertising. United States and Ireland.
All three are outside the United Kingdom, so the transfer is made under the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, which is the mechanism the ICO recognises for sending data abroad. Nobody else receives it, we do not sell it, and there is no automated decision-making here that has any effect on you.
What you can ask for
All of it is free, and the answer is due within 1 month.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask us to stop using it, or ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, as we do for analytics, you can withdraw it and it must be as easy to withdraw as it was to give. That is the button in the cookies section above.
